Is Hypnotherapy Weight Loss Possible?

The title poses the question is hypnotherapy weight loss possible? The answer is that it can have an effect, but to be honest, it is not the answer to your problem. Using hypnotherapy to lose weight does not directly affect the amount of calories that you eat which is what will affect your weight. The use of hypnotherapy suggests that you are having a problem sticking to a diet. Hypnotherapy might or might not help you with that. But it is possible that the bottom line is that the diet you are trying is not right for you.

You cannot beat the science, no matter what you try to help you lose weight. If you eat fewer calories than you use, you will lose weight. Hypnotherapy does not influence this basic rule in any way. It would be far better to sit down with a pen and paper, work out how many calories you take on board, how many you use up and try and find a way to increase the deficit to your advantage in some way.

Alternatively, you could consider increasing the amount of exercise that you do. This will help immensely in trying to increase the calorie deficit. So much so, that if you increase your calorie count, you can actually still lose weight by doing more exercise.

In summary, the value of hypnotherapy in weight loss is limited. It may help with some aspects, especially if you have chosen a diet and are struggling to stick to it, but the bottom line is that with a good and appropriate diet and weight loss plan, you should be able lose weight without the need of hypnotherapy.
